    Path of Exile 2 patch 0.2.0 is coming soon. Since the new season will balance the existing classes, add new classes, and unique items, all players will start from scratch.

    Infernalist Demon Form build is a very suitable build to use at the beginning of the season. You only need about 7 hours to complete the main campaign content.

    Build Core

    The core of this Infernalist Demon Form build is Demon Form.

    This skill comes from Demonic Possession skill of Infernalist Ascendancy Class. After turning on this skill, you will transform into a demon, greatly enhancing the power of your spells. You gain Demonflame for every second you stay in this form. When you activate this skill, you will lose maximum health every second. As the power of the skill increases, your health will decrease faster and faster. If your health reaches 1, or you use a non-spell skill and activate this skill again, you will revert to human form.

    Since health will be depleted quickly after activating skills, you must stack ES to ensure survival.

    Act 1

    Gear Selection:

    • Movement Speed: First, look for boosts that increase movement speed. Movement speed is the most important attribute in this game, which can help you dodge enemy attacks.
    • + Level to Skills: Look for wands that increase the level of chaos or spell skills to increase damage.
    • Gear Rarity: Even high-rarity equipment may not be suitable for Witch use. If you don’t need it, you can exchange it for currency.
    • Vendor: Check Vendor frequently to find out if there is any suitable equipment in time.

    You need to look for wands that increase spell and chaos damage or spell skill + level in the first act to improve early damage. The faster the movement speed of the boosts, the better. If possible, look for energy shield equipment with higher rarity and stronger resistance.

    Remember to pick up all the equipment with sockets in Act 1. When you reach Ogham Village, find Renly’s Smithing Tools and turn in the quest.     Act 2

    Gear selection:

    • Movement speed: Still, focus on finding equipment that can provide you with maximum movement speed.
    • Energy Shield Gear: Find any equipment that can provide you with Energy shield. Check their values, rarity and resistance.
    • Flat Life Regen: A good affix that can extend the duration of Demon Form, but you still have to prioritize Energy Shield Gear.

    When you reach Act 2, you can complete the trial to get Demonic Possession. This skill allows you to maintain a high DPS. You only need to maintain about 40-50 stacks to defeat the boss of Act 2 successfully, but it will also keep your life at a very dangerous level.

    Be careful not to use gear that increases your max health or strength. Make sure you have Energy Shield when you switch to Demon Form, otherwise you will be very vulnerable. The final boss of Act 2 is very good at lightning, so use Artificer’s Orb and more POE2 Currency to add rune sockets to your armor to increase lightning resistance.
